Analyse

Capture the signal’s tonal balance before choosing a starting point.

Choose a curve

Proposed presets: Studio Smile, Console Smile, Warm & Open and Presence. Refine the curve with shelves, bells and high- and low-pass filters; anti-cramping behaviour remains part of the brief.

Add smoothing

Then bring in AI-assisted smoothing to address harshness while preserving tone, with the amount under your control.
